We visited Manassas, Va on April 18-20. While in Manasssas we visited the Visitor Center and inside we watched a 45 min movie on how the war in Manassas started. After the movie we took a 5.4 mile hike on the Manassas Battle Trail. We saw the Great Stone Bridge too. Then we all headed back to our campsite and sat down to have some smores over the fire. |

On Friday night, Pack 143 held their crossing at Rising Sun's Town Park. The Cub Scouts received their patches and awards from the Cubmaster before being sent across the bridge and on to the next adventure of joining a troop. We welcome the new scouts and hope that they enjoy their time with us in the years to come working on their path to Eagle Scout!!!!! See you on Monday nights. |
